Our international syllabus steps and rhythms will have you moving to the Latin beat with confidence and flair.
IDR Smooth & Ballroom Rhythms
Our instruction centres on International Smooth & Ballroom Rhythms you’ll guide through different Smooth & Ballroom Styles, including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep.
IDR Sociable Partner Dancing
Are you ready to dance with a partner, or perhaps you want to learn both leading and following? Look no further than IDR Partner Dancing! We specialise in various Latin and Ballroom styles with a strong emphasis on the joy of social dancing as a couple. Don't worry if you don't have a partner; we encourage everyone to dance with each other. Explore sociable Latin styles such as Salsa, Bachata, and Argentinian Tango, or delve into the world of Latin ballroom styles. Additionally, we offer ballroom styles like Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz. Join us and experience the exhilaration of partner dancing like never before!
Performance Groups
Being a part of the performance troupe is great for incentive and discipline. When you know you will be performing you have something to work towards, it encourages teamwork and helps to perfect your technique as you work with others and create your own practice times. The One Dance Group exemplifies inclusivity, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to embrace the joy of dance and perform in front of an audience.
One Dance Community
Dazzle and Dance was never set up to be just a place to learn how to dance, it was never intended to be just another dance school. The emphasis of Dazzle and Dance has always been to give people a One Dance Community Club, where “Dance" is a Sport. And it is for everyone, whatever your age, your ability or your background, our dance community was set up for you.
Specialist and Medal Workshops
Dazzle & Dance is registered with the Dance Faculty, IDR (International Dance Rhythms) and our Dance Programs follow the IDR Syllabus, which gives our members the opportunities to progress their dance journey, starting with Social Dance Medal, to Bronze, Silver and Gold. We encourage all our members to undertake the 5 star Solo & Couples Medals but can also undertake the Student-Teacher.. We periodically organise worshops giving our members a chance to extend their dance knowledge.
Private Lessons
Our focus is not to sell you private lessons. However, we do offer private lessons if members need some individual attention or want to progress faster or would like to undertake Medals (Solo/couples or teacher-student) or would like to do a showcase for our social dances or special events or even own special event. We also offer private instruction to wedding couples for their first dance.
Dance Parties
Although we are a dance school, we want Dazzle and Dance to be a Community too! To help bring all our dancers together as a community, we love to host Monthly Dance Parties and Special Events. Parties give our members a chance to have some good old-fashioned fun, get to know one another, practice their dancing techniques, showcase and let their hair down.
